Burullus International Symposium Beautifies Small City

CAIRO, Oct. 9 (SEE) – For the fifth time respectively, the boats and walls of Burj Al Burullus city in Kafr El Sheikh governorate, located in northern Egypt, are being decorated with beautiful and magnificent colors.

Under the theme “Burullus International Symposium” up to 42 artists from 18 countries around the world volunteered to beautify the small city, which is famous for fishing as the main profession.

The symposium, which runs till October 14, includes participation of students at fine arts faculties of Alexandria and Mansoura as well as people with disabilities.

Led by Egyptian artist Abdel Wahab Abdel Mohsen Salama, the painters decorates the city’s buildings through drawing colorful paints emanated from the nature and the sea.

The city residents expressed their happiness for the successful initiative, saying it would help the city to be located on the tourist map.
