CAIRO, Oct. 8 (SEE) – President of Cairo University Dr. Mohamed Othman El Khosht distributed on Monday certificates of graduation to foreigners who studied at Cairo University Center For Arabic Language And Culture.
During a meeting between El Khosht and some Italian students, he said that Cairo University is open for other cultures and universities worldwide, stressing the keenness on establishing the system of the international university here, which is based on joint programs and degrees with international universities.
“Peace wouldn’t be reached except high levels of understanding among the world’s peoples and approaching education systems,” he added.
He also pointed out that the center targets up to 700 Italian students, noting that several nationalities are learning Arabic in the center including French, Russians, Koreans, Armenians, and Germans.
“Egypt is safe and secure,” Khosht told the Italian students.
In the meantime, the students expressed their happiness for learning Arabic which could help them in knowing more about the Egyptian history.
