CAIRO, JUNE 27 (SEE) Minister of State for Military Production Mohammed Saeed El-Assar, met on Wednesday with Chairman of “Except” for Integrated Sustainability Tom Bosschaert, one of the Dutch companies involved in the construction of the agricultural estates.
This came during a meeting attended by delegations from various ministries and universities to discuss the possibility of joint cooperation in the construction of agricultural farms according to the latest international technologies used in this field.
El-Assar explained that the project aims to achieve a high quality and productivity of crops with a low use of water as a state’s plan to provide a high-quality product at a low cost for the Egyptian consumer.
For his part, Bosschaert expressed confidence in the Ministry of Military Production and its own expertise in the field of construction of agricultural hothouses, and added that his company is interested in the development of sustainable farming systems, which is one of the most important components of the establishment of agricultural houses according to the latest technologies and according to the nature of the soil And climate.
He stressed his desire to exchange experiences with Egyptian companies in order to develop the systems of agricultural estates to their great importance in overcoming agricultural problems and water scarcity, in addition to providing a large economic return.
