CAIRO, Oct. 4 (SEE)- EgyptAir successfully surpassed on Thursday the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).
IOSA is the highest airlines’ safety certificate awarded by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
EgyptAir said in a statement that a delegation from the British company WAC, representing the organization, conducted inspections on all activities of the company, including air operations, hospitality, pilots, engineers, maintenance, security, ground services, and freight.
For his part, EgyptAir Chairman Ahmed Adel praised employees involved in this new achievement. He said that the company is always seeking to comply with all international standards in the field of safety and quality.
He added that Egypt Air was one of the leading companies to pass IOSA inquiries in 2004.
Mohamed El-Shorbagy, General Manager of Safety and Quality Sector said that the delegation praised the procedures standard of EgyptAir and the commitment to implement all international standards in safety management in more than 1,100 measures without any notes or non-matching points.
