CAIRO, Oct.4 (SEE)- On Wednesday evening, Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Research, attended the graduation of 2017-2018 class from MSA, Modern Sciences and Arts University, at the university’s campus in the 6th of October.
During his speech at the ceremony, Abdel-Ghaffar congratulated the 2000 graduates urging them to review new advancements in their fields, and to keep researching and learning in order to keep abreast with the progress occurring in the various scientific fields. He pointed out that the youth are Egypt’s hope to attain real development and renaissance in the country.
The minister assured the important role private universities play in the higher education sector, urging these universities to upgrade its curricula and establish scientific partnerships with distinguished international universities in order to provide an advanced scientific service and raise generations of graduates armed with special skills that the labor market needs locally and internationally.
He praised the scientific partnership between MSA and UK universities in issuing joint certificates recognized abroad.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Nawal Al-Dujawi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees oh MSA, Khairi Abdul Hamid, University President, Vice Presidents, Deans and College Agents, Faculty Members, and representatives from the University of Greenwich and Bedfordshire.
