Shaimaa Gohar Wins “lUPAC” Award

CAIRO, Oct. 1 (SEE)- Ministry of Higher Education congratulated on Sunday Egyptian chemist Shaimaa Gohar for receiving an award from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry ”IUPAC”.


The international organisation is awarding 118 young chemists in celebration of its 100th anniversary, Al – Ahram reported.

Gohar was awarded the prestigious fellowship ‘Scientists for the Next Generation’ by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in Egypt, after completing her Bachelor’s degree.

Gohar is a Robert Bosch Foundation fellow at the European Forum Alpbach, which was held in Austria.
